Ben was the first Border Collie to come and live with us.  He wasn't bought to be a show dog he was Brett's companion.  He was a one person dog until Brett tried to trial him in the obedience ring, then he wanted to know everyone.  Especially if they were sitting outside the ring!!  Needless to say he never had any passes in obedience.  After a short illness we made the decision to let him go on New Years Eve 2001.  He will always be missed.
